Encouragers Class

Welcome!!!

The Encouragers class meets in the chapel at 9 am.  The majority of the class are between 25-40 years old but all ages are welcomed.  Our members have children ranging from in age from newborn to married adults.

The Encouragers class lives up to its name.  Our mission is to encourage, lead, and minister to those who are in our class and community.  We are a very active group who love to help those who are in a temporary struggle as well as those who are facing long-term challenges.

Several of our class members are leaders in the Blasting Zone - our dynamic children's worship, and others are leaders in our adult worship service.

Our class is very involved in two major events in our community each year.  We participate in C4 - our Christian Community Car Care for single women and widows and TeamKaren - a benefit for First Baptist Christian School and cancer research honoring our own Karen Cottrell.

In addition to those two events we also support several of our members who go on foreign mission trips each year.

The leaders/mentors of our class are Karen and David Cottrell, Jan and Tom Morris, and Dale and Karen Mason.
